I know zippidy-doo-da about shorting...but yeah, that system failure was a nightmare. They said it was due to an outside vendor's software...but where was their back-up system in all this? You'd think someone the size of Schwab would have backup contingency plans upon backup contingency plans! And I'm just a very small-fry investor...I can imagine the screaming going on up and down the block that day! JEM
