They can buy at the bid (you can't and you will never, ever, ever be able to unless you become a MM), and they can then turn around and sell those shares at the ask (you will never, ever, ever be able to unless you become a MM).

I am frequently the buyer at the bid and the seller at the ask. It seemed easiest to just point to the rules where they provide examples so that you weren't having to just take my word for it<G>
