David found a nice example of a PGDCEB with a gap from 1996...VRTY.
Lots of signal days since the gap. Almost all of them successful in varying degrees as far as the very short term strategy dictated by the phenomenon goes. Now however, the last signal was repeated to establish a double bottom and the stock has doubled in the last 2 months.

233, 21, 34 stochastics moved rapidly into the area of "oversought" without much uptrending support behind it though. A look at the SMI however shows great uptrending support rather than the quick run that usually denotes speculation. Currently the long SMI is slightly weak with some stabilizing after Friday's activity. This combination of events in the stochastics and SMI is the kind of stuff that would normally cause me to require a few more days of data to make a determination. However, the 13 day RSI clearly shows weakness and I would say it has just about (if not now) completed the top here and has set up a MIM. Now the traders will be exiting and a higher low coming up will verify that the level of accumulation is dynamically significant. The 89 dMA/MLR is perfect and as the MIM is verified with a higher low that indicator will reset for the BO. VRTY is a great candidate to put on MIMBO watch for the next month or 3. I'll peruse the last 3 months news releases and scan the thread to find what it is that makes insiders feel they should be loading up here. (or maybe a VRTY follower will show up here). VRTY fits all the stuff I try to find in one of these.
