Yes, this does look good....
I maintain a set of projections by quarter for TRNT (which I do for any company that I am following, to test and benchmark my assumptions). Although the net income came in within an acceptable range of my target, and I was expecting $.06 per share, I was also expecting a bit stronger revenue growth, which we didn't see. I don't think that this is a reason for concern, but I'm waiting until I can see the Form 10-Q before arriving at any solid opinions.
My concern's, to the extent that I have any at all, lie in the fact that my projections for TRNT are based on an estimated breakout between "Service" and "Products"; TRNT does not provide specific data for these business segments individually. My estimated breakout is based on data which is fairly old and has some inconsistencies, so it worries me. However, when I use it to "backtest" these results, the "backtest" seems to make sense..... |
