I haven't yet worked up the nerve to sell short, so I have only been monitoring this thread. Your message of April 8 re: Internet Liquidators has been worrying me. You said you had just received the financials of ILI and they showed a big loss. I had not seen any recent financials, so today I checked out the situation. I found that the financials that concerned you were for the nine month period ending Sept. 30,1997. I think the market has factored in these figures long ago. Since then, we have had the revised deal with AOL and the new bid.com website operating in the U.S. Further financials are due this coming week, I think, and should show if they are making progress or if they are a shorting candidate. At the moment, I am long. Good luck to you.
