Caroline,

The one and ONLY reason I go to Mickey D's is because I do have kids. I think their food is tasteless and most of the time cold. I do get an occasional hankering for a Big Mac but usually that happens when I see them on sale for $.99 or 2 for $2.00. Any price over that and I prefer to let someone else's food put fat on my thighs.

Their commercials are always catchy and the happy meal/toy give away has cost me and every other parent a bundle. Great marketing technique. It has made them a bundle. I looked into buying a franchise about 16 years ago and the cost was close to $250,000. I thought it was outrageous. It is my understanding you cannot touch one anywhere for less than $1,000,000+.

If you are female, answer this question for me. The name of a product can sometimes make or break a product. I have never understood the feminine hygiene product by the name of "Always." Does that mean we will "always" (from now until we die) need this product (ugh) or that this product "Always" fails or what. Just some food for thought.
