I'm going through exactly the same thing with Datek. Last Wednesday when there system was down for about an hour, I was unable to get a confirmation on a market order and when I realized what was happening I was unable to cancel. Their response to my bitching was "This order was delayed due to technical problems. We apologize for the inconvenience but under the circumstances we filled the order as quickly as we could." The trade was completed 39 minutes after I entered it. Sorry to hear of your hassels with Web St.
