The price of Noranda shares will fall by approximately the same amount as the value of the distributed shares - You will not lose or gain anything from the distribution. However, generally holding companies trade at a discount of the sum of their parts, so it is conceivable that the price of Naranda that remains may actually be stronger than what would be calculated - we shall see.
