Dear Intel,
I am getting ready to set up and start to use a L II trading system . Have talked to a local broker in my area that provides equipment and brokerage on one screen ( double) . When asked whether I could purchase TAL he said no. But I could rent it from him set up an acct. and trade using his S&P Comstock feed . Total cost about $400. mo. with $25 a trade . My question is how do you contact TAL and how to get those 3-4 sec. confirmations on trades. Which is a pressing problem. Lost several grand because of this . I want to have a ISDN line w/ LII naz and quick executions of trade haven't found it yet but still searching.BTW talked to my ISP about the card to run 2 monitors at once (he's setup like that in his office where people go to trade) and he said Win 98 has the ability to setup 2 monitors like that without the card (he charges $450 )I am now not able to go to his office and trade daily and have to trade at home . But wonder about the interface with a brokerage and how that works using and being able to direct your trade to the market maket if I decide to spend the money for real tick III and get a broker that would fit on the screen also , like he has it setup . Any input appreciated Thanks in advance for the info. best of luck . richard
