Nice site Tom. It's actually probably a bit premature to hit the gloom button this week but it's sure to happen sometime.

Pat I was just looking at the last quarters 10Q and I would like to paste an excerpt here for everyone to read:

edgar-online.com

The Company expects the proportion of sales derived from products based on packet technologies to continue to increase relative to sales derived from circuit switched networking products in fiscal 1998 when compared to fiscal 1997. As a result, quarter to quarter revenues may be subject to greater variability due to longer sales cycles often associated with the adoption of new technologies.

It actually sounds good to me but but predicting a better than expected quarter may be more than anyone should expect. Still it could happen. I also wanted to agree with the poster who said the number of press releases had fallen as has the quality of the announcements.

Now should we be worried? I don't think so, I think Newbridge is well positioned to find more than it's fair share of market share in the world wide war for ATM dominance.

I believe they are holding back some nice announcements.

For InterOp?

It could be... but Newbridge like many other companies has a tendency to release contract press releases around their earnings reports.

One more thing the insider selling on NN has remained. It's light but it's there and it's not a positive. ASND holders I just saw a tremendous number of shares filed again in a 144 at the Insider Trader site.

Ever use the Thompson's Tip sheets on stocks?

They are never fully up to date and in the case of Newbridge they don't even give a rating on insider sentiment. Must be another case of the stock being based in Canada:
