Ha! LSI for one! Passive is not nec. slow. Just checked - the proverbial long term stocks have the entire portfolio up 43.6% this year so far. So no complaints from me! Sometimes tortoises can beat the hares...

BTW your DPMI is a true gem. I looked into a bit more a few weeks ago. A special company investing for the long term. A very good find! I don't own them but consider anyone who has them pretty darn smart! Remember all those fearful comments on the DPMI thread at the time. Those people were missing the good stuff when it was right in front of their eyes... (humor).

Nothing much has changed since we last spoke. Still consider the semi-equips are not discounting all the bad news, commodity semiconductor companies under pressure (NSM - a bit surprising nevertheless), any chip related company that has anything to do with a PC gets a special star for bad behavior, non-commodity semis reporting well - ex: my LSI and ALTR (is there l/t hope for ALTR - not sure now that I just read their annual report but hoping they might be all right) and getgo pointed out XLNX, your VTSS etc etc.

The LSI report was very good. Check out the posts since mid Thursday last.
