Focusing technologies toward knowledge management and more powerful embedded search functionality, especially the international capabilities. I viewed it positively when the Sales VP returned and the partner relationships and new customers have improved dramatically. Gary Sbona is a professional manager who has brought stability back, while maintaining a profit orientation. The company has been streamlined relative to technology, organizations, financially, etc. and so is a more attractive acquisition candidate than they were last year. Not to say they will be taken out, but now it is at least a viable option--which adds value. Given 1-2 more quarters, I think the valuation of Verity as an independent will be much more compelling. I actually bought three more times last week on the dip to 8 1/4. It is starting to take on the signs of a breakout!
