A country that fights a war and keeps inflation rate low is hard to find. DR Congo seems to be an exception of that. And after a period of low inflation the next step is a new currency:

"The new currency is being printed in Sweden, Germany and Belgium. The money will later be printed in the DR Congo. Mr. Masangu warned that while the new currency is important, it alone will not be enough to lift the country from its economic problems, saying "The Central Bank has always considered that the monetary reform should be considered as only part of a series of measures to redress the economic situation." ACP said that the money will be exchanged at banks and at other facilities throughout the country selected by the Central Bank. This entire exercise is a major milestone for the new Congolese government, as the manner in which this transition is conducted will say a great deal about the government's management abilities and its abilities to create the requisite confidence among its own people in the country's future. The confidence displayed by the Congolese people, in turn, will impact the confidence levels of foreigners. So this is a major step for the Kabila government." (NCN)

When the situation becomes more stable the prices of the mining concessions will rise. The country will benefit from higher percent ownership in the concessions. The share price in those companies working after the early cheaper deals will...
