I just read some good news in the Los Angeles Times this morning. An article in the business section said that Dataquest would be announcing increases in quarterly PC sales today. World wide sales of PC's are up 14.1 percent for the first quarter of 1998 compared to the similar quarter last year. Even better, U.S. sales were up 16.2 percent for the same period compared to last year. This has to be a shot in the arm for increased confidence in the health of the industry.
