<Do you think Dell is building toward being a giant such as IBM or Hewlett Packard> No. Effectively all Dell does is assemble parts that it buys in. Admittedly it does it incredibly effectively, and all credit to MD for that, but it is not a technical innovator. It does not invent anything (other than maybe assembly processes). Peter
