Does it surprise anyone that LU is buying Yurie rather than ASND? For $1B++ they got RAC (Livingston) and ATM (Yurie). Much cheaper than buying ASND. This handwriting was on the wall the moment they bought Livingston. It doesn't IMO reduce the probability of an ASND buyout. The focus should just be on Alcatel, Nokia, Intel, and IBM in IMHO.
