"Will somebody explain the significance of something to me about a trade?I checked the Chart for QDEK on Worden TC2000 Friday and thought it looked good. I put in an order for 3000 before the Market open at Market and it went right through at 3000@2. I put in another order for 2000 at Market and the order was filled in about 3 minute Intervals as follows: 1000 @ 1 13/16 then 500@ 1 25/32 then 500 @ 1 13/16. Why did the order need to be filled three times before I got the 2000 shares?"

This usually happens when the market is busy and/or when the stock price fluctuates in a volatile manner. It also depends on the brokerage firms. I am using eSchwab and Waterhouse and only once in a while did I get partial fill order status. Good firms usually execute orders fast. Waterhouse, although execute orders fast, does not return your order status as fast as eSchwab. Hope this help.

God Bless
