Moosa the loosar is just late to the party. The last analyst to come to the party, unfashionably late, under dressed and pathetically languid. If earnings estimates are unchanged why the rating change? This analyst need to have his brain analyzed for presence of some vestiges of electrical activity. No wonder B of A is going to sell Robertson Stephens for what ever it can get.

BANCAMERICA ROBERTSON STEPHENS RAISES RATINGS ON GALILEO AND NEOMAGIC TO STRONG BUY

San Francisco, CA. - BancAmerica Robertson Stephens research analyst Elias Moosa upgraded Galileo Technology, Ltd. (GALTF) and NeoMagic Corporation (NMGC) today from Buy ratings to Strong Buy ratings. EPS estimates for both companies are unchanged.

NeoMagic

In just a short 18 months, NeoMagic has become the market share leader in the notebook multimedia accelerator market from a standing start. "This spectacular success has been largely driven by management's ability to leverage the company's proprietary MagicWare technology which enables the integration of memory and logic onto a single chip," said Moosa.

Moosa also noted that the oncoming Mobile Deshutes processor cycle and new fifth and sixth generation products could spur another phase of growth for NeoMagic in the back half of the this year.

NeoMagic pioneered the development of embedded DRAM technology with its MagicWare graphics ICs for the portable computer market.

DUH!
