BLUE BELL, PA.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 6, 1996--Tasty Fries, Inc. (OTC:TFRY) announced today that its participation at the 50th Annual Trade Show of the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) held in St. Louis, Missouri from October 31 to November 2, 1996 was a great success. NAMA is the leading trade organization of vending machine operators which was founded in 1947 and has over 5000 members.

"We believe our French fry vending machines stole the NAMA show this past weekend. Going head to head with three other manufacturers of fry machines, the overwhelming consensus was 'No Contest' in favor of Tasty Fries. A delicious fry starts with a quality potato, deep fried in 100% pure cholesterol-free oil and is served piping hot. This method is in sharp contrast to the pre-cooked, flash frozen potatoes which the competition offered. Our three machines worked flawlessly and delivered 876 orders in a three day period," stated Edward C. Kelly, President and CEO of Tasty Fries, Inc.

"Last year, we attended the NAMA show for the first time. Our purpose was to see how the public would respond to a new food processing machine that could actually prepare and cook a fresh order of fries. This year we came equipped with credit applications and order forms. We were not disappointed by the response. To date, we have 4,000 machines on order," stated Kelly, "and our $15,000,000 lease financing package has proven to be a key element in securing orders and convincing vendors that Tasty Fries offers a quality processing machine and product which are cost effective to operate and highly profitable.

Directly from the NAMA show the three machines displayed are being shipped; one to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and two to Toronto, Canada. These machines join the field machines presently in operation in Israel, Saudi Arabia, California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Tasty Fries Inc. is the designer and manufacturer of the only commercial food processing machine which can prepare, cook, and dispense fresh French fries with the flavor, texture, and aroma of real-cut French fries. Tasty Fries are made from and cooked in cholesterol-free oil using a patented state-of-the-art robotic technology. Tasty Fries, Inc. also has its own private brand of top-quality potatoes for exclusive use in its vending machines.
