On Friday, November 8, Bell Atlantic Corp. will hold its special shareholders meeting to vote on the company's merger with
NYNEX Corp.
The special meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Landmark Theatre, 6 North Laurel Street, Richmond, Va. There will be a
media registration table in the theater lobby. Following the meeting, there will be a media Q&A session on the merger with Bell
Atlantic Chairman and CEO Ray Smith. You must be registered to attend the session with Mr. Smith.
During the meeting, only shareholders will be permitted to ask questions. There will be a special seating section for the media.
Flash photography will be permitted, but no auxiliary lights for video cameras will be allowed.
