Nothing unusual, it seems, from the web site: lukoil.com It seems, this coincided with the following news release: April 23, 1998 - LUKOIL profile has been entered on the Standard & Poor's Corporation Records information service. The placing of information in Corporation Records exempts non-American companies from registration in the states where registration is mandatory in accordance with the so-called "blue sky" law, and allows them to duly meet information disclosure requirements in performing ADR operations on the secondary market.
