I assume you are referring to the Westmin takeover rumor.

According to the president of Westmin, there are no plans to
takeover Atna in the near future. Micheal Williams (ATN's IR)
told me that Westmin hasn't ruled out a takeover of ATN, but the
recent acquisition of Gibraltar has left Westmin a little thin.

He also mentioned that this takeover, which was viewed as overvalued
by investors, caused a decline in Westmin's share price. As a result
Atna's share price rode Westmin's coat tails. Takeover rumors may
start up in the spring, after the the results from the underground
bulk sampling program are in.

Regards, Dan

P.S. There was a news release Nov 4, Nesbitt Burns has increased
ATN's one year target price to $8.00.
