If we're getting far fewer posts lately, why don'tcha put some of your jokes onto the public forum here? That oughtta liven things up. You could preface it with a "Net Nanny" type of statement, like if you don't wish to turn beet red in the face, hit the next button, now. Aw, shucks, I exaggerate, right?
The guy in the office next to me thinks that three down days on the market is enough, already. He's been pretty much right on in his predictions over the last couple of years. He's one of those guys that has his (imminent) retirement pegged to the S&P 500. On a bad day like today, he'll say, well, I'm here for another two weeks more than I thought I would be. On a big up day, it's 'I'm outta here two weeks earlier!' Actually, he wants to wait for our cap accum payout in Feb., 2000 (or is it 2001?).
