Tommaso, for whatever its worth I agree with your defense of David. No means of technical analysis can overcome the forces that are going to really move the markets, so big news like what we saw today or the citibank/trav merger would screw up any form of analysis because it adds a new piece of info for the market to act on. Maybe David's analysis would have been correct "ceteris Paribus" but things never stay the same. I value his opinion, though, even if he is wrong because of the fact he has a first rate education.
