Jon,
Thank for taking an interest in answering some of the questions that have been posted here.
I am not quite sure what you mean by following statement:
"You can always call or e-mail our customer service department to find out the details on trading penny stocks online."
However, if there are "details" that we should know couldn't they best be made known by posting here, rather than everyone swamping customer service with phone calls or E-mail. My experience is that when I have asked questions of customer service concerning "trading" I was always referred to a broker. One of whom, by the way, one day told me that Web Street provides penny stock traders with "more" than any other on line broker. I have since learned that is not true, AND, it appears from your post that you are in agreement that Web St is not "penny stocks friendly."
A couple of the issues that have been raised that remain to be addressed are the following;
1. Is there any plan to allow the entry of decimals rather than fractions. It is ironic, that Web Street only allows the entry of fractions, then on some screens, only displays decimals - and then only to two places, i.e, .06 instead of .058. The example I have given is obviously a penny stock, but it applies to all.
2. The 50% variance limitation. This is a REAL problem for all.
3. Does Web Street sell its order flow?
Looking forward to your answers concerning the above.
As I have always said, the best thing Web Street has going for it, is Sheri Smith and Customer Service, but more is required!
