Any RIDErs still out there? Got any good boarding stories from this last season?

It looks like RIDE has leveled out after the Olympics hoopla and started to creep up again...great bounce back while the general stock market is under pressure.
I'm still holding onto my (very) long term shares.

Could this be the year this industry sorts out it's problems?
(I see some interesting parallels with the hard disk drive industry and how it got trashed last fall from over supply, excess product in the warehouses, competitors dumping inventory, price wars...
Western Digital and the lot has started to move back up but will probably take a year to equalize.)
--------------

I wonder how the new wake board division will contribute to income and even-out the cash flow of the company.

Of particular note is an analyst item in the Seattle Times financial pages yesterday:
Analyst: Peter Jacobs, Ragen MacKenzie.
Recommendation: Accumulate.
Comment: "An order to stock REI stores with Ride snowboard products is a plus."

If you don't know REI, it's a primo retailer rei.com

This is impressive shift of REI's perspective on Ride:
A few years ago some Ride snowboards were sold at REI stores but were dropped the past couple of years (I don't know why) in favor of Burton and K2, so this is a major scoop for Ride to get back in.
At last years annual meeting someone asked why Ride boards were no longer sold at REI, management just said they were "working on it".
... and so they did...

Maybe RIDE is getting it's marketing act together!
Its boards were certainly getting good press this past season.

The annual meeting is on May 19th, I'm planning to attend.
