If you're running NT Workstation, and have several applications open simultaneiously with large datafiles, then you certainly will see swapping. (I use some Access files which are over 100K!) The Norton indicators show the swap file use quite conclusively. Even with fairly light use right now, I've got 34.5MB of swap file in use.

With typical Win95 use, it's probably unnecessary in most cases.

At Home Products Divison (Pavilion PCs) we have not announced ANY models with the K6, and I can't comment on what our unannounced products may or may not be.

Other product lines (Vectra, Brio, Mobile?) may have announced something, but I haven't seen it.

As far as I am aware, the only announcement came from AMD, indicating that SOMEBODY at HP is going to use the K6.
