Yo, newbie: The settings you describe would tie up all your DRAM if you
even had 10MB free with everything else running. Its true that a small
amount of your Level II SRAM cache might come into play during use but the
processor calls what goes into it, not the program. If you want speed, get
a caching disk drive or controller card, which uses DRAM anyway. If you want
to know what I'd really like to see manufactured is hard drives with 1 MB or
better of the new Fusion Memory. It seems to me that this may be an ideal
application for the new product! Anyone else see this as a killer ap?
