Kevin, Dave --- Cascade Communications went public on July 28, 1994 as a leader in Frame Relay and ATM products.

("My number one Son", joined the company when it consisted of
only 12 people, and wrote software/firmware for those products).

Their closest competitor was Stratacom (not sure of spelling), which is now owned by Cisco.

Cascade is now a part of Ascend , and still maintains a leadership
in those products.

As a holder of ASND and LU stock, I look forward to a "relationship"
between the two companies.
