Well different strokes for different folks. I tend to think in similar terms as yourself. I guess it's no different than some built special bomb shelters back in the 50's and 60's, others practiced air raids drills and a lot of people did nothing but depend on the government to make sure it didn't happen.

Like I said about generators was 10 year old info. I don't even remember Honda being in that market back then.

I like your idea of taking vacation then although I just work for myself doing this at home (I just sold my last rental property)...this being equities trading. That brings to mind your statement "what if the market closes for a week?..a month? Now that would be a real personal disaster. My wife would probably make me go out and get a real job. Sh*t!<GGG>
