Bob, since I live in San Francisco I see the homosexual/lesbian community up close. There is absolutely no individual, and no organization, which tries to convert children to homosexuality. First, it would be impossible, since children develop this way. It is not something you can learn. Second, as I said before, no homosexual would wish a life of sneaking around and being discriminated against on anyone. This is just totally illogical.
What homosexuals do in the schools is try to be positive role models for children who may have already discovered they are homosexual. At present, 30% of all teenage suicides in American are homosexual youth. People who love children--gay and straight--want to be supportive of children who are having a tough time adjusting to the reality of their sexual identity. This kind of informal counseling is very appropriate.
Who is it who is telling you all this stuff that is untrue about homosexuals? Are you getting it from Christian talk radio, Rush Limbaugh, who? I don't think it is particularly healthy for people to believe all these lies. |
