I just woke up, so I'm fresh as a daisy, well a dandelion maybe.
Just wanted to let you know I appreciate all the kind words and letters of confidence I have received recently. It is amazing how accurate the passage "you never know who your true friends are, until the chips are down"
Many here on the thread are only subjected to the negativism and don't get to experience all the intangible "well being" and comradeship that we enjoy. Cyber buddies, pulled together, sharing in an adventure, both financially and in spirit. Jacksman put it in words best by saying, "that if he was going to go down in a sinking ship, he couldn't imagine being in better company." How true.
Granted, our coming together as a tight knit and sharing group is not a reason to invest, but it certainly has been a "resevoir of fortitude" from which we all have been able tap.
As you have come to realize, I place a high value on friendships and earning someone's respect. Maybe neither will buy me a cup of coffee, but it certainly puts me in harmony with my spirit. That is what I call happiness and it has no price tag.
Some people like Valuespec strive for acceptance and recognition, yet will never find the key, because ironically their "values" are distorted. "Hey look at me, I'm right, I'm rich, but I'm a void, and I don't count" is certainly not how I want to be remembered.
So Seth my friend, that is why your words of kindness are priceless in my book and I thank you and all the others for taking the time to share them.
