Enough about the takeover rumors! They're only just that, rumors.
VOCLF has had numerous sell-offs by insiders which should tell everyone something!! They know more about the company than anyone else. I would start to feel much more comfortable if I see them snap up a couple of shares at some point but it has never happend. I have been trading VOCLF from its IPO and got burned badly at that time but have been doing much better since then. Since the DT agreement VOCLF has been put on the map but the insider selling has made all traders nervous (incl. myself- I'm a trader).
Is VOCLF a good company with a potentially great market? Yes. Will it be the company that realizes that market? Who knows. The insiders obviously don't think so. Not in the near term at least.
As for the bogus takeover rumors, DT already had a large stake so I would only look for an increase in that stake and NOT and outright takeover. When it comes to beating out companies like CSCO and LU, tread VERY carefully!!!! They can destroy VOCLF stock with a simple announcement (see MSFT in firewalls regarding CHKPF!) They both have far reaching marketing contacts which could easily claim internet telephony business from competitors and they both have the resources to develope their own products.
If your a long term holder and continue to be one then it shouldn't hurt to hold VOCLF at these prices but don't look for quick gains anytime soon. If your in for the short term, get your money out as soon as it hits 21 put your money somewhere else where it has some movement.
PS I use IPhone 5.0 and have used it from its inception. It is the superior product out today and I do love it. But NEVER fall in love with a stock! NEVER NEVER NEVER!!
