<< I believe the Fed knows it has limited policy flexibility in the current climate. >> Defrocked, What I don't understand is why Greenspan is not attempting to at least control the degree of mania, by talking down the market, warning about excess, etc. He should have been doing this all along even if he doesn't feel other steps are warranted.
