Eric Schmidt doesn't get it. Showed a slide of an incredibly complex local area network. His presentation focused on how Novell's directory service and new products will make it a simpler network, but it is still a Novell network. Is there even a future for any type of network other than TCP/IP protocol? Does anyone even remember the Novell protocol, IPX, or was it IDT, or was it, ... oh never mind. No one at this conference cares. Poorly attended presentation with some managers leaving halfway through. from the H&Q Conference via Briefing!
