A news story on Wired News indicates a consortium (IBM Compaq Novell & Microsoft) being formed to develop standards for biometrics. The story is at: wired.com I have not been able to find any releases from the companies involved or at the CardTech site, will post if additional information available. Biometrics may finally becoming mainstream. Will see if we can obtain a comment from Mytec.
