Raleigh, sorry it has taken so long to respond but I do have another life besides posting on this thread.
Not to start an argument, because we generally agree on alot of things here, but I think you might need to a) review your facts and figures when it comes to the USR products and b) address and compare the features, or capabilities, that a solution like the Total Control (TC) provides.
Don't get me wrong, I like both companies. As I stated to you before, I am in up to my ankles. The fact is, the D-Mark solution provides only a fraction of the capabilities that the TC provides. TC can include analog, digital (ISDN-PRI), T-1, and frame relay... you should expect to see ATM and ADSL/XDSL support in the months to come. Again, I agree with you that FTEL has products that can make inroads into the ISP marketplace and other businesses. Otherwise, we probably wouldn't be in this stock... right?
On another track... And this is directed at everyone.
I have seen a few posts mention ADSL/XDSL. I too am interested to hear if FTEL has a strategy. Any thoughts or opinions? Anyone tracking any specific stocks?
