Duane, welcome back. If I was such a smarter cookie I should have bought on the 13th.
DPMI was a buck or two cheaper.
DPMI is in the driver seat for photomasks on this roadmap.

Technology Generation(nm)________250___*___180___150___130___100___70

DRAM________________________64/256M____1G____*____4G____16G___64G
(bits)

MPU_________________________4M____*___6M____10M___18M___39M___8M
(logic transistors/cm2)

ASIC________________________8M____*____14M__16M___24M___40M____6M
(usable transistors/cm2)

Those $30,000 masks start kicking in next year.
Listening to the C.C. DPMI has positioned itself well
in Asia during a time when there was a semi-equip asset
fire sale. That will payoff 5 years from now.

As for the Hoya agreement its hard to say. The joint venture
is a way of reducing risk in R & D capital expenses.
How much business comes from photoblanks anyway ?
Frankly, I don't know if this will lead to a DPMI
foothold in Japan. The fact a leading Japanese photomask
maker has entered into such a relationship will open some opportunities for DPMI.

Forgive my ignorance but what does TSO mean ?

Hit those golf balls long and straight,

DKG
