2,000 new stores is not important news. The main reason that people have been long Iomega is because of installed base. How do you think you get a large installed base. It is achieved by having a lot of people selling your products. I think it is a shame that some investors are so biased that they cannot objectively view these stocks when they have good news.

On the Syqt reporting, I am buying stock before the conference call. I think that institutional investors are going to be on the call and they are looking at revenue growth. Howard Rosencraus, the only analyst that publishes on SYQT expects $44 million. If they beat this number, watch out--the stock could soar.

I think it is important for the company to address the sharecount issue so that institutional investors can get a clean handle on the stock. If there are less than 180 million shares, this company looks a lot more attractive on a P/S basis.

Then next important thing to watch is for guidence going forward on sequential revenue growth. It will be important for them to be convincing on this measure.

If these issues aren't addressed on the Conference call, I would be leary of jumping in. But if they are and the news is positive, get as much as you can grab below $4.
