Further to my comment on Toyota being "secretive", as far as I know they have not joined up with anyone else yet and have only released details of their fuel cell when they unveiled each version, hydrogen and methanol. BLD takes a much broader approach, focuses on the fuel cell, files for patent protection, and seeks to sell to all parties. They are working with most of the major auto companies in one form or another and their first step was to send the OEM's a fuel cell to test out, a much more open process overall. Fuel cell cars won't become a reality if only one car company produces them and BLD realizes that, I'm assuming Toyota does too.
