It's not often that I wish tomorrow were today. I sort of like to take life spontaneously. But I wish it were so. In this case, with NETZ, I'm on the edge both in anticipation and certainly financially. Wired and SD has made my life very, very difficult. Who knows, had my NETZ instincts last fall been allowed to go unimpeded, I might now own the house I'm now moving out of. It's no joy!

You're right, Joe. Many of us have said all along that Steve Lair wouldn't associate with crooks. We even got blasted here and there for saying same. Indeed, Hayton may have had some difficulties in the past. But can anyone name an eccentric visionary-type that didn't? Not everything is spoonfed once you get past that stage; and so NETZ with all its growing pains.

Look forward to some bright days! And by the way, tell Wired to give it up. Knowing its track record, Ziff-Davis will have a great IPO, NETZ should come out OK in the audit and prove what it has said it has done--but they'll still probably come through with another groin kick for Hayton.

Good luck to all who are in or who are getting in. Hope those that do not get in will catch up with us down the road. Once again (Wired go away): Start your engines!
