Trey, Why is $50 million the benchmark number? From reading a recent SF Chronicle article, the number under discussion between Apple and Be is nearer to $100 mil. You don't think it better for Apple to make a purchase rather than license and compete with et al?
In regards to the high-end boxes you refer to that would utilize BeOS for video/film editing, where is Apple going with hardware, and how will they stay competitive? I only ask you all these questions, because you seem quite intelligent and well informed.
