Bill---I gather you are referring to exporting V3 formatted data (once converted from V4) over to 3rd party pgms that don't read V3 seamlessly (eg MS). My impression is that the export from V4 to V3 within TC is virtually 'instantaneous" (and therefore GET would read 9000 symbols right away) but that once one wants to export the V3 batch on to a 'non-seamless' pgm, there is a long wait. If this is correct, it is really no different than the situation with TCPro? It would take me 2.5 hrs to convert 5500 symbols with say 5yrs of data over to MS format using the MS downloader for eg (a lot slower than datacon).
