EDDIE --- I might be wrong but that 100 million share buyback does not start until a year from now . The reason being that the shares were issued to employees as part of a equity partnership that will not come due until the second qtr next year based upon performance .
As SATYR said it is PR for now .
Still waiting for CPQ management to do something definitive about the issues at CPQ ---I keep hearing about the layoff's for DEC etc but DEC is bringing earnings to the party . UNTIL CPQ decides to shut down excess production , increases sales or restructure in the PC business this stock is not going anywhere . I bought the stock due to the strong reputation that management had ( whose credibility has disappeared per WALL STREET ).As far as I can see they have not made any tough decisions ---just selling PC'S at cost

BEST WISHES
BILL
