OT*** Cool. Maybe Micron will get around to offering one as a slide in jobbie in place of the slide in CD-Rom drive in my 233mhz XKE laptop. <g>

One really nifty thing I heard about DVD drives is that someone is making a version that allows inputting a key number, allowing you to pay per use. That way when you rent a DVD movie from your local video store you do NOT HAVE TO RETURN THE DAMN THING ON TIME, or probably ever. (Stamping out CD's being an el cheapo proposition, once you've go the volume going.)

Don't know about you but my odds of returning a rented video on time are 50% AT BEST. Rather think the video places currently count on that.
