Specifically, what are the longterm problems that CPQ faces, and what do you think pfeiffer should be doing about them? By your post you seem to imply that Compaq needs to make internal layoffs...not DEC layoffs. In what areas?

Also, we tend to forget that on a year to year basis...CPQ actually is higher when compared to the price a year ago.
