Howard and PT, This is music to my ears. I think an IRA is the perfect vehicle for making risky investments. Here's another question. If I start buying options with volatile underlying stocks in my IRA and my ship comes in, can I switch over to a Roth before cashing out the option. Imagine...a new $2000 IRA every year for gambling on options and then when they pay off, convert over to a Roth prior to cashing in. Is there a hole in my logic?
