vpelt--- sorry to hear you are moving. Just finished the process. I have there are only 3 ways I move from this house that was built to fit our life style; 1 to the cemetary 2 to the nuthouse if I say the words move or build again 3 to jail if someonr else mentions moving again. The experience sucks but the rewards are great.
It seems there are a ton of people that look for and expect the worse. Then there are just as many that need a cause to push. Without a war to protest Y2K is the next best thing----though I am sure they would feel more important on a war,,,,this works. Some people just have too much time and money on their hands and have to see/hear themselves so they force themselves into a cause and try to push their ideas on others. After a good rest they may wake with a different outlook. If there was something else they could pontificate Y2K would not be as earthshattering. Some are just so easily led by those mentioned above it is not their fault. To believe the sane and healthy of this country cannot survive even a major Y2K happening AND assist their neighbors is unthinkable. The ones with the biggest problems with any issue will be those that are the most concerned. If a minor happening occurs they will be out of sorts awaiting the worst that may never happen....
I guess I am one with too much time today-----
John
