Never got the call back from IIXC today, but here is E*Trade's summary of their operations. I mention IIXC because it may be what GNNX is trying to become, or they may be doing business with an IIXC-type company. Business Overview IXC Communications is a "carrier's carrier," providing long-distance telephone services to long-distance carriers that buy network capacity and services from IXC and resell them under their own brand names. IXC's primary services are private line (carrying communications between 2 points) and switched (processing and routing calls). One of only a handful of carriers that operate coast-to-coast digital communications networks, IXC has expanded its network -- particularly its fiber-optic component -- at lower-than-average industry costs through joint construction and capacity sales or swap arrangements with other carriers. IXC plans to offer Internet services through a strategic alliance with PSINet. (end of summary) Mr. Noble mentioned that GNNX was using switches for services to Mexico, and if I am not mistaken did use the terminology carrier's carrier or shared service or something like that.
