Hey Dave E Smith your PomPoms are showing.
Well, when they mail the Annual Report I'll read it.
Looking for opinions on the patent situation but all i mostly get is personal attacks. Your Short, naysayer, etc...

Did I say something negative about Toyota's DC program? NO.
The patent situation is probably the same legal mumbo jumbo all
technology companies have.

Fuel Cells really do not have a competitice threat since they have no market share to take away. Its the job of Fuel Cell technology to
take market share away from the current IC and Hybrid technology.

>>> It's rather obvious that you haven't read the "report". The patent situation is well enough covered (advantages and risks) and the competitive threats are well covered too! (And Toyota's program is mentioned in a positive light, something you seem unable to do, for obvious reasons.)<<<

Ballard does not have a monopoly on Fuel Cell technology and there
seems to not be anyway to improve the patent position over time.
One PEM Fuel Cell or brand X Fuel Cell is virtually the same as another and can be used in the same applications since electricity is electricity. Unlike Intel's Slot 1 and Slot 2 strategy.

>>> I think that most readers understand about the "lifetime" of a given patent's protection, as well as that there are ways to broaden and improve patent positions over time.<<<<

It is an example of what happens when a patent expires on a technology that is highly rated. I guess you think Ballard's patents
are not very good.

>> To throw out two examples of other unrelated patent situations is really disingenuous and rather like comparing apples to oranges.<<<

Anyone can buy and sell Ballard all they want. Thats what makes
a market.
>>> You really don't want anyone to buy this stock, do you?<<<
